I hope SNL doesn't stop making their skits. They never fail to make me laugh.

I have been on a media blackout today because that's the way I'm choosing to handle it at the moment. I think SNL will continue to do their best, which makes me very happy. Alec Baldwin loves to rip apart Donald Trump.

I have been on a media blackout today because that's the way I'm choosing to handle it at the moment. I think SNL will continue to do their best, which makes me very happy. Alec Baldwin loves to rip apart Donald Trump. When my radio alarm came on this morning, the hourly news started with the words "President Donald Trump", but those words still don't make sense in my brain. They might as well have said, "President Ronald McDonald", or "President Grilled Cheese Sandwich".

The only difference being that President Ronald McDonald AND President Grilled Cheese Sandwich both sound pretty good!

A friend asked me if I wanted to go to the LA march. I have to say (aside from not wanting to spend the entire day with this person) that I didn't think it will do any good. Emperor Babyfists will say, "oh, how cute, look at all the girls in their pussy hats." I hope I'm wrong. That said, now he and his cronies have to do what they said they were going to do. Repeal Obamacare, build the wall, all of it, he said he was going to do it, and it was going to be AWESOME, so now he has to do it. I do think he thinks he can promise stuff and that the fun of the campaign was the most important thing. Now you're Prez, you idiot, do some work.

Massive woman's marches around the world ! Even Annabelle posted a picture ! I feel so encouraged .,empowered ! There was more crowds than ignaguration. So many others feel the same as us! Went with my daughter to one local . I will always stay involved and will always stand up to injustice. We must not remain silent . They are signing away all our rights. We need to stay engaged and call our local leaders let our voices be heard. Sorry but I am so pumped almost but not quite ,like being at a Coldplay concert. Just to be in unity with others who share the same passion. Not My President ever!

I agree, the marches may not change anything, but they say something, and like Sue said, voices need to be heard. They empowered not just women but people to stand up, voice opinions, contact Washington or local governments, run for office even and generally to be involved. It may just get the attention of elected local government officials to not back down and carry the voice of the people they are supposed to be representing to Washington. It shows that people DO care about this travesty that's happened and shows that the American people did not speak during this election (if I hear "the American people have spoken" one more time....) and that we will not go quietly into the night with some of these proposed policies and plans. Can we change anything, maybe not, but I'm thrilled that so many decided to make a point that doing something is better than doing nothing, and voices must be heard. I, sadly, did not have a march near me, but I'm anything but silent and will continue to be anything but silent. Kudos to everyone!

He came down so hard on the deleted e-mails that I hope there's a huge "deleted tweets" saga to come, haha! Donald Trump just deleted a tweet and now that he's president, that might not be legalJan 21st 2017 2:37PMPresident Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday morning that he was "honered" to serve as 45th president of the United States. Moments later, the tweet was gone — presumably deleted by the president or his team. Under the 1978 Presidential Records Act, the president must obtain the "views of the Archivist of the United States" before disposing of any records. And his tweets — whether sent from his personal Twitter account or his official @potus account — are considered a matter of public record. Mic has reached out to the the National Archives office and David Ferriero, the archivist of the United States, to determine whether president Trump followed the necessary procedures before deleting the tweet. We also attempted to reach out to the White House press office, but were redirected to an automated message. The switchboard operator informed said by telephone that, if that's the case, there's no one in the office. We will update when we hear back. link

So yesterday I was still on a "news blackout", I just couldn't handle it anymore. I couldn't even watch the news about the protests, the only way I could deal was to turn off the tv and go outside, and pretend it was a normal happy Saturday before this nightmare happened. Now that I have some news back on this morning, I see some bits about the protests, (in between yelling and muting the tv every time they cut to clips of Donald's inauguration speech), and I'm happy to see that they were massively successful all over the world. Apparently there were twice as many people in attendance at the protests than at the inauguration? Of course he's denying that this is true, because he's nuts. But, it is true, and it's awesome!!!! thinkprogress.org/womens-march-outnumber-trump-inauguration-e5659e80e7c4#.tdl5mpd57

They had a march yesterday in London. I'd have gone, if I hadn't been on a plane. Like Sharon and sue say, it may not make any difference, but it shows we care.

He is truly nuts. I hope this isn't a no-win situation. I feel ike he lives in such a fantasy world that no matter how big the protests are, he won't ever take them seriously. He'll just say, the pictures aren't real, or the news is lying. He's nuts.

At some point surely it will all start to unravel, he is totally deluded
I saw a very interesting interview on a UK news programme with an American Author, I can't remember his name duh brain, but he even suggested that at some point Trump may even get bored with the job once all the 'Pomp and Ceremony' have died down, we'll see
Keep Calm and Listen to Coldplay
