It is really hitting me hard in my gut. I really feel like I am grieving. I have signed every petition under the sun!I have made calls to local congressmen. I am glued to the news watching ,waiting for him to get do or say something that will be the last straw but apparently he has a free pass to do or say or insult whoever he wants! Can you imagine if President Obama responded to all his critics? I am not working friday -will not watch! I may join in my local peaceful protest.
In the words of John Lewis-When you see something not right.not fair,you have a moral obligation to do something-to say something-and not be quiet .
I am so grateful for all my friends here . We really have a great support system here-all brought together with one common ground-our love for the best band on earth!

I keep saying to Jeremy, "I can't believe we elected this idiot president." I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that's he so unpopular, and yet he was still elected President. How can we have a President that (almost) nobody wants? I can't make any sense out of it. |

Because something is desperately, unequivocally, 100% broken in this country. If this doesn't scream "HELP!" to change the electoral college system in some way, I don't know what does.

Probably, but the school system put out an e-mail today reminding people of the sensitive nature of not only this election but politics in general and to make sure that teachers keep their personal beliefs to themselves. If they turn it on in the office, I will put my earbuds in and listen to our saving grace band.
