Yes you're right, wonder where that will hang
Its such a shame he has all these insecurities in his life but I wonder if the band would even still exist if Chris was any different?
Lets hope that he does lay his demons to rest and truly enjoy his life and his family

Lets hope that he does lay his demons to rest and truly enjoy his life and his family I was just thinking this a little bit ago and was going to post something like it when I got home...honest. If Chris hadn't been the way that he was/is, we might not have had the great music or even the band at all. It was part of that overdriven, multi-tasking, quirky, a bit neurotic Chris that has worked so well with the other personalities and helped propel this band to where it is today. So, I hope that he gets to a place he wants to be but that it helps him continue to do what he loves to do.

I love this interview! Even though he looks like he feels uncomfortable at times, I love his honesty and the way he reflects himself and his past in the course of it. He says a lot about ambivalent things in the music business and I can identify with some of the private struggles he mentions. Other famous people would never talk about these things or they would try to make them look like a success.Chris is just such a great person. And no, I am not gay. I am just saying what everybody knows anyway

You don't need to be gay to appreciate a lovely person, and he is.

He seems full of hope, but sad at the same time. Is that possible?

I just watched it too. The part around O.... It is heartbreaking. Made me cry a bit. It's so sad to see someone is hurted like that. He clearly isn't totally done. But can you? It needs time to heal the wounds.
And yes, there can be hope beside sadness. Hope is one of the things, which could help him through the though times.

I've listened to it so many times I think I know it word for word now. So touching, so deep, more lovable than ever. You get drawn to the band b/c of their wonderful music, but you remain a fan for life b/c of this incredible human being.

Just watched this interview... again...last night, and oh man, touching and moving are definitely the words. The O part is almost too much. There was another time on the audio (didn't make it on the videos) where he kind of stops and asks if Phil was still around, then Zane changed the subject and Chris said to keep on, that he wanted to get the answers straight. Zane said he just wanted him to be comfortable. That part would have been hard to watch in the video as well, if it came across like I thought it did.

I watched it again. It made me realise how brilliant this interview is. I thought it was anyway, but this just takes it to a new level. Perhaps it's just because I'm young and I've got a lot to learn, but Chris seems to talk more sense in this interview than anyone else ever will in their lifetime. Listening to him makes me truly appreciate how a lot of the stuff we see and hear is utter rubbish. His words are like a piece of glass or crystal that I can see straight through.
