It was Fathers day here too. First one for hubby. I already got him a photocamera for his birthday a few weeks ago, so I told him he wouldn't het anything more.
But when I dropped Emma of for daycare, they had a present: a painting with Emma's feet. So lovely. I woke Emma up and then we woke hubby up together. Just a sweet little moment with the three of us. I am thankful for those moments!

I am thankful for this board.
I already was, but my English is increasing (I know it's still not perfect). I need to communicate with people in Macedonia for work and it's mych easier. I wouldn't have thought I could do this 5 years ago....

I am amazed every single day that we as a whole communicate with each other. It's amazing to me. And everyone here seems to be English pros as far as I'm concerned. You guys are incredible.

In times like these, I am really thankful that there are people out there night and day (especially policemen) who do something for the safety of our country. I don't think we appreciate that enough here in Germany, so I would like to express my gratitude to those people.  |

It's that time again. In the States, it's Thanksgiving tomorrow.
I try to be very grateful every day, but it's nice to let others know how important they are, and it's a good day to do that. I'm not one to keep my feelings to myself very often, so you probably already know this, but
THANK YOU for caring about me even though most of you have never even met me.
THANK YOU for always listening, always lending an ear and always giving support and great advice.
THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful obsession with me and making it so much fun.

Thank you for being YOU - all of you :-) Your writings made my eyes wet Sharon! In Holland, there is this year a new phenomen: "Dankbaarheidsdag". When I translate the word into Englisch it is Thankfull-day. So we cellebrate this day on this side of the ocean too. Showing thankfull-ness makes that person happier they say. We allready knew that by a longgg time, didn't we? |
