OK there is a size limit, we can't have everyone using massive signatures, it would slow the pages down a lot if we did. So in order to resize you will need to use some form of photo manipulation. Some photo hosts can do that for you. It looks like you are using photobucket, you should be able to re-size it within photobucket. If you click on EDIT within Photobucket, it will take you to another page where you can edit it.

I would set it to around 300 pixels wide. x whatever size it is deep to keep it within ratio. I hope that makes sense?

There was a problem with ProBoards a little while ago, I got the error page. Maybe try again, if the Admins don't have another suggestion.

You found out how to do it? Go to Profile, then Edit Profile, then to Personal and there you change password.
