Great pics have been posted since my last visit here! Pacific Ocean, wow, that's so exotic, almost unreal! Hope your sunburn is better now, Keaton. Some pics from my TV show experience yesterday: The stage. The venue is a big outdoor museum.  I had this view all day in the sunshine. In the background, across the water is the island where I live.  Blunty boy during rehearsal  ![]()   Eric Bazilian (guy on the right, in black) :swoon: :drool:  uhm... great musician and really nice guy. Someone might know him from The Hooters.  Beautiful sunset, what a way to end this day. So glad I chose to take the boat home and not the tram.  Today: Story telling under the chestnut tree in the Old Town  Parts of the Old Town are favourite places of mine. You can meet people from many centuries. This was an amazing tour guide from the Strindberg era (late 1800s). Great story teller, had to stop and listen to him too for a while.  |

That's allsång på skansen, right? I saw some youtube videos of Veronica Maggio performing there (I like a couple of her songs). Stockholm is such a beautiful place... |

Yes it is. You know about Allsång på Skansen and Veronica Maggio  I'm always so surprised when someone knows something about us in this small country. As Keaton said, we live in a beautiful world, but yes Stockholm is the love of my life. On her behalf, thanks for the compliment |

It's now that i realise that i don't have a lot of photos of my hometown... I'll see if I find something, otherwise I will just post Stockholm photos from my last trip haha ;D

Stockholm seems to me as a beautiful city indeed. I specialy like the 'old' parts a lot. Reminds me of Brugge (Belgium) where the streets and houses were built ages ago. That brings a whole different atmosphere with it; nothing is built to be really efficient or fast and it is slowing life a bit down. Hmmm....does that make sense?   |

Stockholm seems like a very lovely place! Maybe one day I will visit there. I love history too. I haven't seen much of Europe latterly I have to admit. I've been to Holland to the Hague (to see Coldplay of course LOL) and that was a nice city, I really liked the tram system, so convenient! Plus I got to walk in some of the places that the Viva video was filmed so that was pretty cool. I have also seen Prague (for a day trip! and it was mid winter so so COLD!) and I also had a day trip to Berlin (Dustin) which was also pretty interesting. So cool to see the wall and realise it wasn't all that thick.. quite an eye opener to someone brought up during the cold war. Other than those places and a couple of business trips to Germany and Holland I haven't been anywhere since I was a very small child. Really need to do this at some point.

Awesome pics, Carina! I've been to certain places in Europe, but I've got to go to MANY more. I live with massive history buffs, and I know they would love to go to some of these places. Stockholm has been a city that I've wanted to visit for a long time but just have never made it there. One day. In the meantime, it's so very nice to see pics from your back yards/gardens from across the globe.
