Amelia.. we had so much cloud we saw nothing down here.. it just got a little gloomy.. so thank you SO much for the pics! Amazing.. the last ecplise was 1999 as Prissie says, but I was in Spain then, and missed it entirely.. LOL
I saw an eclipse when I was about ten however, it was a total one and it was when I lived in Australia. It was VERY exciting. We all went out into the playground as a class, and I got to hold up the pin hole board with my teacher so we could 'see it' without looking. It was so cool. I will never forget it. It got almost completely dark for about half an hour.

So here are some photos of the Jess Glynne concert I went to.  {Spoiler}  Front row!!!! Yeah!  After the Norwegian band "Julie Bergan" sang a couple of their songs (they were a bit umm..... special ), Jess Glynne finally hit the stage. She performed almost her entire debut album, including songs like "Rather be", "Don't be so hard on yourself" and "My love". She also covered "Tears dry on their own" by Amy Winehouse. A few of these songs were recorded on video. I hope they will be released.  She performed at a small venue (Postbahnhof) in Berlin. Tickets were sold out weeks ago.  Relatively soon, it got very warm inside as the spotlights were heating it all up and before she would melt away,...  ... she spontaneously decided to take off her jacket  Sometimes, she would also do a singing battle with her backing singers haha   After the concert was finished, her bus was parked in front of the building and waited for some people to get in. It appears that you could win VIP tickets somewere, which would have included a tour with her bus.  I love her!  |

Wow you were really close, great photos! Listening to her now, I like her voice very much. Must see if I can find that Amy Winehouse cover on Youtube, I can imagine it was good. edit: found it! it was ok. her own songs are better for her, no one can match Amy |

I know, it's like if they could only see into the future from that first photo and know they would all still be smiling and happy in 2014 and see what 'hunks' they have all become! I bet they would be pretty surprised.. although it is no surprise to anyone here I know!.. I need to update my siggy I think! we have new pics from 2016 now..
