Very interesting article here guys. Although it's nothing more than speculation, it's interesting that the band might perform there! First source of speculation for a while!

Golly.. Prince AND Coldplay on the same stage.. Now THAT would be something! But I agree, it would seem VERY unlikely. Still one can hope!

I found this. LINKYeovil charity gig officials confirm talks with "high-profile" acts after Coldplay, Jessie J and Kaiser Chiefs are tipped to be on board COLDPLAY, Jessie J and Kaiser Chiefs are among the high-profile acts linked to a charity gig set to be held at the Westland Leisure Complex next month. Officials have confirmed that “arena-filling British acts” are speaking with promoters ahead of the proposed concert to raise money to help Somerset flood victims. Keith Weston, site operations manager at Westland Leisure Complex, said he hoped the event would go ahead in early March. He said: “We only came up with the idea on Sunday but our promoters are already in consultation with some very high-profile acts. “I am not in a position to confirm any names at this stage but I can assure you that if the right things fall into place it will be one of the biggest events Yeovil has ever seen. “We are talking arena-filling British music acts.” He added: “We are looking at holding the concert on March 7 but we are still in the early planning stages. “We are hoping to hold two concerts – one in Yeovil and the other in Bridgwater’s Blake Hall. “This event could be huge and we are in talks about giving the majority of funds to go towards the flood relief effort.” Around 1800 locals could be lucky enough to get their hands on tickets to fill the popular Yeovil venue. The event is being promoted by West country-based SLR promotions. Mr Weston added: “We should be able to reveal more detailed plans in the coming weeks.”

Yeah, it's almost the same as your original one, but seems to be less possibly, and more probably in this article. It's still not certain though is it.

Argh.. but hey IF they play it (and it is by NO means a forgone conclusion) then even if we can't go.. Heck its a long way for me even from here. Plus hotels, getting time off work etc.. (But I do appreciate I do live in the country so REALLY shouldn't complain!) particularly with all the floods at the moment. But if they do, then we get photos, reports, possible live streams/radio broadcasts.. It is ALL good really. And I do feel for you people stuck out in other countries who just can't drop stuff and fly half way around the world. It must be so bitter sweet.
