Top 10 or 25 you decide. Which Coldplay songs do you think are the best? Why do they stand out in such a way?

It's hard to pick 10 songs because they have written so much good stuff. Here is my list, anyway (no particular order either) God Put A Smile Upon Your Face (because it's such an epic rock song! by the way, CP need to write more rock songs ) Speed Of Sound (a favourite because I remember listening to it and enjoying it when I was younger) Crests Of Waves (how can you not like that song? It just makes me feel good and I feel like they were enjoying themselves while writing / recording this) One I Love (great energetic song) Trouble (because it's Coldplay's best sad song in my opinion) Animals (extraordinary singing performance by Chris and an old Coldplay classic for me) Violet Hill (a great song to go wild with Coldplay!) Magic (the first Coldplay track I heard on the release date and which I enjoyed. the bass is magic!) Don't Panic (a song that is always there for you in moments when you think that you don't live in a beautiful world ) The Hardest Part (the song that got me google the band Coldplay - a life changing experience I can recommend! ) Is that enough reason to love Coldplay?

Lord. This is impossible LOL. As we all know it depends on the day.. but I will give it a go. 1. Clocks - Because well Chris, stool humping, Toronto 2006 - Little noises... and all all other live performances ever. It's just rocking, classic and sexy) 2. Christmas Lights - The first Coldplay song that got me thinking.. OH! Who is this band, plus it's such a perfect song, Christmas time or not. 3. Us Against The World - Just love this song so much. It helped me through a difficult time too. Plus the first time I saw this done live at Glastonbury, they screwed up, and it made me laugh and love the band more. 4. Strawberry Swing - Makes me think of a perfect time in my life. Really life changing and amazing. Plus it's a gorgeous song. 5. Amsterdam - Another song that helped me through something I was dealing with. Plus we almost got to see it live in Chicago.. almost 6. Yellow - always will be one of the best songs ever written in my personal opinion. Whatever incarnation. Acoustic, rocky, or the original Parachutes version. 7. Paradise - Didn't like it the first time I heard it, thought it was over-produced and designed soley for live performances with the 'canned clapping'.. then I saw it done live.. firstly at the Little Noises, and we got to do the second 'paras' for Chris as Will wasn't there.. and then at the Emirates, where I screamed my lungs out singing along and I have loved it ever since. Plus the bass is wonderful at traffic lights 8. One I love - Live 2003 Version. Gorgeous song, brings out the rock chick in me and I would absolutely LOVE them to do it live again one day. 9. A Sky Full Of Stars - Loved it from the first time I ever heard it.. seen it live twice and it ROCKS.. It cheers me up, it makes me happy. What more can you ask for? 10. Atlas - Another song with lovely memories attached. Fantastic song. Saw it live in London and it's just as good, if not better than the single version. There are so so many more songs, Politik, GPAS, ETIAW, HLH, Don't Panic, Green Eyes, Shiver, Life is for Living, VIVA, Cemeteries of London, Yes, In fact all of Viva and all of AROBTTH. How can you really narrow it down. This band have THE Best back catalogue in the world.
