The charity and goodness is at work yet again. Coldplay backs Pop Club fundraiser at Dorchester Arts Centre
By Dadcock | Posted: September 10, 2014 By Dee Adcock Superstar band Coldplay are backing a fundraising performance and auction by young musicians in Dorchester. The band has sent a drum skin and photo signed by the world famous musicians to be auctioned by Pop Club at Dorchester Arts Centre tomorrow, Saturday. The memorabilia is a coup for the youngsters in the thriving musical club who often play Coldplay’s Viva la Vida among their repertoire. Another top prize for the auction is a new electric guitar donated by Dorchester music shop Harmony Music. Music producer Mickey Wills, who leads Pop Club, said: “It’s a great opportunity for our members to show off their amazing musical skills. “This year will be full of special guests and surprises and I can’t wait to start the show.” The fundraising night starts at 7.30pm. Book online at www.dorchesterarts.org.uk or call 01305 266926 for tickets. link
