I finally got my car yesterday, so three days. But I have nice new tires and it doesn't shimmy when I go on the freeway (that's bad, right??) And they fixed my hatchback, which was broken. I can open my trunk again!

I thought I had everything sorted and planned, ready for my busiest time of the year.
A week ago I injured my knee, felt like something popped and I fell over, screaming. Of course, trying to get up I hurt my other knee too. I can stand up now, even take a few steps with the help of crutches and pain killers but I'm so stressed out, angry and worried about things I REALLY need to get done.
I'm having a rant about myself, it seems. All this will be a valuable lesson I guess, you never know what's gonna happen.

Knee pain is the worst!!! My knees haven't hurt lately but I strained my calf awhile ago and it hurts on and off.
Antithesis to my earlier rant, my car is now super clean and runs like a dream! It was a joy to drive to work today.

As someone who injured their knee many years ago, I understand! It's okay to have a good rant because it sucks! But in the end all you can do is rest it, don't push it and let it heal or you will be suffering for a lot longer than originally thought. Take it from me! Good luck!!

Thank you! Patience and rest isn't what I'm best at but I think you're both right. I'm trying Treating it like a friend is a new thought, it's better than being angry at it. I like it! How's you heel now, Sharon? I hope it's healed. |

The heel still loves to give gives problems, unfortunately. I've given it a workout here in Florida the past few days, and it's holding out. But I still struggle with the right shoes. But hey, it could be worse! Thanks for asking!!

After such a wonderful night I really dont want to moan BUT...I only managed to get a xyloband because a sweet lady next to me had a spare that someone had given her, my daughter and her partner went without, also no love buttons, all gone by the time we had got there, so when Ive just seen a pic on twitter of someones 'souvenirs' ie: SIX wristbands and THREE love buttons it just makes me so mad!!
I dutifully recycled mine at the end, some people are so greedy and selfish grrrrrr
Still was a wonderful night though

They gave the xylobands out at the door on the MX tour -only one per person ! Now you just pick yourself?They really need to change that hopefully ! Especially when they come to NY . Alot of greedy people here too believe me! I feel bad for you about that not fair! Is there someone we can bring that to their attention?
