Jason has responded to pictures on Twitter of people wearing multiple bands. He has been very open about his and the band's disapproval. It's awful and rude!!

that's horrible karen! no one should go without! but i think how jason goes about this is pretty rude himself. there are problems with the staff too. like how batman got 4 bands at the end of the show just by asking the staff. had jason seen her pics, he would have gone after her without any context what so ever. he really does more damage sometimes than actually helping. but i think the band might consider this sort of thing too petty to actually officially ask of the attendees (like through a tweet). people are so greedy! if you really want more than one, wait until the show is over. i've seen that there are plenty lying around at the end for you to grab.

I've only seen a couple, and the ones I've read freely admitted they took more bands than they should have gotten, and one girl in particular said she took them for her friends and she didn't care what anybody thought about it. Not cool. There are many true fans who paid for a ticket that deserve a band as well, more so than friends that didn't attend the concert at all. But I'm not the twitter pro, and it would suck to be called out by Jason when you got your bands by honest means. And oh boy, Jason has a tendency to do more harm than good sometimes, and his poorly-worded, fraught with errors, tweets are equally embarrassing and funny at times. I've sighed, 'Oh Jason' on more than one occasion. And If they are allowing people to grab their own bands, that needs to be changed.

In Gelsenkirchen they gave the bands out, one per person. Also the love buttons but most of us got 2 as they were wrapped in plastic and stuck together, so the helpers could not separate them so fast. BUT the toilets were outside, so if you went out to the toilets and then went in again you passed the helpers again and they tried to give you a band and button again. I did not take them again but who knows how many did? As to Jason I also cringe at his tweets...and how does he know that a fan did not go to 5 concerts and so has 5 Xylobands? And he once tweeted one of my pictures without giving me credit  |

I agree. It's selfish to take two, but that's human nature. If you don't want people to get two, then make sure they only get one when you hand them out! I also think it's a bit petty. When we were at the Emirates, they had HUGE bins outside that had stacks of used xylobands in from the night before's gig, they asked people to put them in there if they didn't want to keep them. So we kind of helped ourselves!! I do think it's sad if you go and can't get one though. That would be very annoying.

Same thing here, they had huge bins with used xylobands at the exits. I asked if I could take a few to share with people who couldn't go to a concert and I was more than welcome to.
Maybe it's different now, I suppose they're more expensive with the new effects, but still. You shouldn't get/take extras before the show tho, very bad if people who are there don't get one :(

I know it must be difficult to control, and the staff probably aren't concerned about everybody getting one and yes its human nature I suppose, we did arrive quite late, unavoidable, but there were a lot still waiting to get in so they would all have gone without too.
I watched a vid on Youtube from my gig, it was all good until the 'filmer' held their hand up to film and they were wearing 3 bands.....grrrr
I suppose I must be grateful to the lady who gave me a 'spare' that someone had given her, anyway you lot who still have your gigs to attend I know you will be there early enough, so ENJOY !!!!

So sad about the Voice( US) contestant that was shot and killed while she was signing autographs after her show in Orlando.
I noticed she was on the same season Chris was a mentor. I know he is busy now but maybe he will tweet something.
This is so scary! I really hate guns and violence!

I think the US is a great country, but we have a problem with guns. Things like this should not happen as often as they do. There were shootings last week and the week before, one was at UCLA. This was a deranged fan, who should have gotten (or someone should have gotten for him) psychological help, but he got none, I'm sure, I don't even have to know the facts. I'm sure he did not. Now we have lost someone who didn't do anything to deserve something like this, and her poor family are going to constantly be asking why.

Bad subject for me. I don't want to get on a soapbox about my disdain for the lack of proper gun laws, but suffice to say how sorry I am about this and all of the shootings.
I've worried about this as far as Chris and CP go for a long time. Crazy ass people!!!!

Good point Sharon, especially as they seem to get on stage so easily, its unbearable to even think about it happening,they need to upgrade their security
