Today's rant is:
Left turn lanes that go nowhere!!!
You know, when you go into a left turn lane, but then there's just a solid curb where you're trying to turn, like they forgot to finish the road, or they gave up, or they're just playing a practical joke on everyone, and then you have to sit there and wait for all the cars to go by, feeling like an idiot, trying to get back onto the road? AUUUUUGH!!!!!! These make me mad.

HAHA! I don't think we have those. Your left turn is of course our right turns.. but we wouldn't have that (At least I don't think so!).

Really. I'm fuming. I sat on a bench to eat my lunch. Sandwiches. A man with his daughter was also on the bench. There was room for one more, at a pinch. An elderly lady asked me to move up so she could sit down. I did so. Then her friend elbowed her way next to her, and would have sat on my sandwich if I hadn't moved it. ! I had no room at all to eat. I had to get up and leave. Seriously, you expect teenagers to be rude like that, but elderly ladies..... Not so. I really nearly said something extremely rude before I left, but decided it wasn't worth it, besides I was hungry! People. Ugh.

AUUUGGH I'm trying to get registered for my next semester at school and they are making everything so incredibly difficult, that they're making me want to change schools or just give up the whole thing altogether. Quick someone tell me not to give up!!!!!

Sorry to veer 'off topic' but seriously how long does firework night last?? When I was a kid it was Nov 5th and Nov 5th only, its been going on since Haloween grrrr dont think Ive seen my poor little cat for the last 3 nights she hides under our bed, it will be worse tomorrow because a lot of organised displays are on It should only be allowed on one night!! God Im turning into a grumpy old woman I need to listen to AOAL on repeat  |

So , I clean at my daughters dance studio to help pay the enormous fees we have now that she's a competitive dancer. Most of my friends and fellow workers at the studio have been very positive about me doing this. There's one teacher there though that is so rude to me, I can nearly not stand it anymore. I didn't know her before I started working there, we never really crossed paths. I came around a corner my first night of work to hear her saying that they will hire anyone these days and because she doesn't know me, she doesn't trust me. I was floored. How rude! She also refuses to call me Ashley, I'm know to her simply as the "cleaning lady". I don't know what I did wrong here, but I'm fed up with her acting like I'm less than her . It's beyond mean. :(

I agree, it's about her, Ashley, and not you. When someone's self esteem or ego is fragile, they love to degrade others or act just plain mean. I think it was Freud who said that when people feel negatively about themselves, they perceive others in the same negative way. So basically, I think how she's acting toward you, with no provocation whatsoever, is more about how she's feeling about herself than how she feels about you. Insecurity really drives a lot of meanness I think. I'm sorry you have to deal with it, though. Just keep on as your normal, wonderful self and ignore her. She will one day realize that she's unfairly judged you.
I know, easier said than done!

I hate people like that! One of my old bosses constantly called me 'the secretary.' I'd been there four years and he was constantly demeaning towards me. It wasn't JUST me however, so I kind of put up with it because EVERYONE hated him. But eventually it got too much and I left. I couldn't be happier now I don't have that crap every day in my life. So I totally know how annoying and just simply RUDE it is. But like everyone says, it's HER not you. She is probably a miserably unhappy person. (we can hope anyway LOL!).
