Leann, sounds delicious but do either of those things sit well with you? Oh yes, they are both gluten free! I'm lucky, there are lots of options now, there weren't 10 or 20 years ago. You can find almost anything gluten free in the grocery store. |

Believe me, I kept checking him last night! (he also licked the rest of the sweetened condensed milk off the empty container) He's fine, no more eating raw chicken and going to the vet for him!

Believe it or not raw Chicken is actually OK for cats. They don't get salmonella or stuff like that, they are designed for raw food after all. The only reason they can't have chicken on the bone is if it's cooked, then it splinters. But raw is fine. Most cats however turn their noses up at that.. "Mum its not cooked?" But mine have had the odd raw chicken drumstick, they (some of them once they get used to it) like to chase it around the kitchen and pretend to "kill" it. It's messy though LOL..

When Rudy was just with us a few months, he licked raw chicken and then POW--was sick. He had a fever and had to go to the doctor, it might have been because he may be the runt of his litter. He was pretty little for his age when we got him.

Or he could have eaten something else...cats get into all kinds of things that they shouldn't. He probably licked a hundred other things that day that you didn't see LOL.

Yes, he's very naughty in that regard, he loves broccoli, spaghetti, whipped cream, milk, ramen noodles, chicken wings. I never get to eat a meal that isn't being begged for or swatted at.

lol Rudy sounds quite naughty! I don't suppose he will beat my Max for bad manners however! I don't think I've ever had such a naughty cat! He runs about yelling his head off for no purpose that anyone (except him) can work out. He has escaped from the garden three times.. each time I devise more and craftier cat proofing, only for it to be more of a little challenge and he works out how to bypass it! I know this thread is about food.. but seriously I think he is part dog, part bat, part brain surgeon! Oh and part cat of course LOL...
