Later, I'll be cooking for the normal New Year's festivities at my house. This year is completely different than anything I've ever done.....breakfast foods! It will be strange, but we'll have fruit, whipped cream, waffles, biscuits (as in bread), gravy (as in essential, haha), eggs, bacon, sausage, doughnuts and even some vegs and a beef/sausage dip. Plus, other things. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

Pancakes?? Why not do an English Breakfast, complete with hash browns, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, beans and toast LOL? Oh and lots of tea.  |

Sausage. On top of my stove. Because I tried to make the first batch inside the oven and it caught on fire. I will not be defeated! Trying again with the on top of the stove method.

Here's hoping that nothing caught fire on your stovetop. That kind of sounds like a proverb. May the sausage in life never burn your stovetop.
I'm not cooking anything at the moment, but we're going to fire up the new pressure cooker later and see what we can come up with. Oooooooo.

Naaah stovetop turned out good. The directions on the package for the oven were way wrong. They said cook under the broiler for 15 minutes. I thought, that sounds like way too much time! Indeed it was because the food caught on fire.

Mmm,food my favourite thing after you know who  Today lovely beef stew and dumplings, I start it in my slow cooker when I get in from work in the morning, then thicken it on top of the oven,delicious |

Hubby wants albondigas (spelling?) soup, so I think I will make that on Sunday. I'm teaching my friend over email how to make meatballs.
