I've had it on repeat for a couple of days now and it gets better every time! What baffles me is why it took me a lot longer to appreciate and understand the song. I loved midnight instantly but this was a very different experience. I hope others who dismissed it early on like me give it a few more listens and I'm sure they'll fall in love. I've had a similar experience. Im definitely liking it a bit more. |

Magic has become one of my all time favorite Coldplay tracks and I can't believe it! I really didn't like it at first but now I'm blown away after every listen. Plus I don't know if anyone else has realized this but Chris's vocals are extremely strong in this song.

In the live version, did anyone notice the piano playing by itself? after Jonny walks away to play on his guitar. Just like the Christmas Lights piano, which pretty awesome if you ask me  |

I really didn't expect this song to grow on me after the first listen. But it's clean and minimal production just gives it so much room to breathe. The producers have done a great job on it and it has a William Orbit sheen to it. It really is a song that you can embrace as an individual.
