Maybe the album release dates. Would make sense: Magic in May, album late summer. About the same amount of time between ETIAW and MX.. |

I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere, but I looked up the magician and apparently illusions are his speciality of sorts. So perhaps there might be some fancy illusions in the video as well as some more classic magic tricks…?

It's true that we could get the song earlier than the music video! If we take ETIAW which was released on 3th June 2011, the video was released more than 3 weeks after (28th June 2011). So if the video comes out in early May, we might get the song in middle April already! Aaahhh!!!

Yeah, and I sort of hope that the song is darker in that way, and that it'll be more AROBTTH than MX. But maybe that's just me. And yes, we NEED a colour song on this album! interestingly, joe labero has deleted the coldplay related posts from instagram. guess this shows the source is more reliable.. maybe colsplay do want a surprise album. maybe with a week's notice or so.

Man, this is so fucking fun. It's been too long since we've had any news on anything, and getting to relive the lead-up to an album is just incredible. Can I just say the way they're handling this, compared to MX, is just awesome? Subtlety always wins.

What I find corny, others may think is great. And what someone else thinks is brilliant, I may find corny, so let's just hope it's a case of people seeing things differently.
edit: If so, maybe it's an intentional corny, like Talk??
