So I'm in my car with the radio on (KROQ in Los Angeles), I hear this really annoying guy going, "Whazzzuuuuuuuuuup!" for a promo before the song starts.
It was Chris.

When did they start doing the confetti? Have they done this at all of their tours? No, I believe it started with the Viva tour. this is an interview i've never seen before Oh wow. I do remember this interview vaguely, but it's been ages and I'd never saved it, so thanks for going back into the vault and bringing goodies here to share! |

New question. Y'all be my Oracle, you know enough..... I did not know Jonny sings before Tuesday. I thought it was All Chris. Does he sing in any other songs besides Don't Panic? He has quite a lovely voice! No need to be shy! I agree, I think he sounds great! I would love to hear him sing more myself. As for all by himself, I don't know of anything other than this part of Don't Panic that Chris has forced him to do on more than one occasion! ha! (Anybody else know of anything?)  Again, not by himself, but he sang the low parts with Chris on Daylight - another of my very top songs! One of the best videos to me...  And he also sang with him on the second verse of Politik. Wow, he sings with Chris on a good part of the songs I love!  Too much info! |

on another note, has anyone noticed how the lyric 'ready to claim' in oceans is not being sung any more since the very first outings of the song live? it has been changed to 'ready to change'. oceans is one of my favs in GS and so i've watched videos from probably all GS concerts.

Thanks Sharon! Never too much info! I so so love Politik too and I listened to it again closer but can't really pick out Jonny's voice, I guess it's really blended in there. This is why everyone was saying they were surprised to hear him "sing all by himself"? |

Just now on the VH1 countdown they have gotten to Ed Sheeran's video for Sing.
The VJ on the show said he asked Ed, "Who is the puppet in the video? It looks like Chris Martin." And Ed joked, "Yes the puppet is Chris Martin. OK no really, it's me."
I knew there was a reason I loved that puppet!
