Ahhhhh, the pain of that concert and Byron By trip. I was backpacking in Australia at the time and missed them by a few days. I had to leave to get back to Syndey and fly to NZ. |

I had a really random Coldplay moment today. I have a Coldplay butterfly tattooed on the back of my neck and today at uni I had my hair up. So I'm walking down the stairs and one of the professor's from my uni whose class I never took is walking behind me.
And he just goes: "So these two new songs and new album... Any thoughts?"
I turn around and with the weirdest look on my face ask: "I'm sorry, are you talking to me?"
And he says: "Yes you. That IS a Coldplay butterfly? I for one really like the new songs, although nothing will lyrically be close to pre and X&Y era, but still way better than having Rihanna as a guest on your album."
And all this time we're walking down the stairs and I'm soooo surprised. And then I ended up talking to him for about 20mins about Coldplay, gigs, songs, albums. I was blown away. My new favourite professor although I'm not even sure what are his classes about.
