I had a really random Coldplay moment today. I have a Coldplay butterfly tattooed on the back of my neck and today at uni I had my hair up. So I'm walking down the stairs and one of the professor's from my uni whose class I never took is walking behind me. And he just goes: "So these two new songs and new album... Any thoughts?" I turn around and with the weirdest look on my face ask: "I'm sorry, are you talking to me?" And he says: "Yes you. That IS a Coldplay butterfly? I for one really like the new songs, although nothing will lyrically be close to pre and X&Y era, but still way better than having Rihanna as a guest on your album." And all this time we're walking down the stairs and I'm soooo surprised. And then I ended up talking to him for about 20mins about Coldplay, gigs, songs, albums. I was blown away. My new favourite professor although I'm not even sure what are his classes about. Wow! The coolest professor on the planet!! |

Louis CK was announced as host of March 29's Saturday Night Live. He has no musical guest listed. I'm wondering (hoping, hoping, hoping) that it's Coldplay and they want it to be a surprise. Is this crazy?

I once heard Glass Of Water in a McDonalds in Paris  That was so special! They were playing crappy, commercial music and suddenly I heard something familiar. And the odd thing is that Glass Of Water isn't even a single, no one knows it and it was the song I was totally addicted to at that time. It was magical! |
