Now whenever I hear Everglow, I can't help but think of being thankful and grateful for everything. Maybe it's because it premiered on thanksgiving, not sure. The way the lyrics connect it's like a sad, but hopeful bittersweet feeling.

It's kind of like you can always find a way to be thankful, even if you have to struggle to turn a negative into a positive.

And once you realize you can turn your broken potery into gold by piecing together the fragments with gold; you can set it out and let it take on an adventure of a lifetime!! Sorry, I'm writing lyrics and listening to AHFOD at the moment and that was a spur of the moment kinda thing haha.

I just love the way Chris explained it - if you've had someone you love, be it family member, significant other, or an era or point in your life that's now gone and in the past, the little reminders and memories of them, their "Everglow" will still be with you. It was such a great way to put it, and it really resonated with me, which is why I love the song so much and is my top favorite of this era.

I just realized that "The Hardest Part" and "Talk" sound so similar to each other. I'm wondering if it's just me. Does anyone else hear it?

I don't particularly hear it, but I admit I'm not really good at hearing similarities that others hear sometimes.

Yes! They are in the same key, and have almost the same tempo, so I'm not insane... Now I want your opinion on "Clocks" and "Speed of Sound". Do you think these sound similar?

They are meant to, per Chris, he said they wanted to link the new album with the previous one.
