They are all beautiful! Legend looks so tall (or is it high? big? lol) and wow jumping! You were obviously a good rider. I really like horses, but I had no riding talent at all The others wanted to gallop and jump, I was so happy just walking around and trot. Oh and I loved feeding them, cleaning, grooming and saddle. Typically me lol.

He was quite tall, 16hh. Not sure if you measure horses that way, but his withers (shoulders) were above my head. But then I am not THAT tall LOL.. I loved jumping, and Legend was born for it. His mother was a famous event horse called True Scott, and his Dad was a hunters Improvement Stallion called Red Man. His grandfather was Red God the race horse. His full name was True Red Legend, or Lego to his friends. Sadly his feet were not good. He had lots of problems with them over the years and eventually developed something called pedalositis, where the bone in the food, the pedal bone, rotates through the soles of the hooves. :( It meant I couldn't even keep him as a pet. He would have been in constant pain.
Sorry rambling on.

ohhh....what great to see these (old) pictures! I love to look at them!! You surely lost some weight Row!! To see you like this brings me hope haha I have owned a horse of my own only for some months, but through all of my live I am riding horses. The last 20 years I only ride on Icelandic horses. I ride Snap (for a friend of mine) since he was a "todler" and we have learned so much from eachother. I know him completely :-)

I had so much fun growing up with ponies, I am sure my parents forgot who I was on occasions, I spent so much of my time up at the stables. We would do all sorts of (dangerous!) things, from jump building in the woods, I remember cantering along bareback with a Bow Saw LOL! to being JUMPED by my friend on her pony! I was stupid enough to LIE down on the top of a wall and her pony jumped me! But I wouldn't swap those memories for anything. I only had my own horse when I saved up and bought one as a 17 - 18 year old. Then my mum caught the horse bug, and the rest is pretty much history.
