More spam? ... Yeah, yeah I think so. {Spoiler} (I know some of these are a little "outdated", I haven't updated too much lately) (Jonny ghost) (Will skeleton) (costume I wish I had!!) (Bio lab joke) (a little bit of a personal drawing, but you know, my favorite person is many states away from me right now, and I just wanna cuddle with him).

Cold, dark, and snowing. Perfect weather, if you ask me. Reminds me of wanting to go and start sledding as a kid, even though there was like nothing on the ground.

The penguin is actually a Pokémon, from the 4th generation of games, Piplup! (the water starter of the game, and my starter for when I had the game) And thank you everyone for the comments/compliments, I really do appreciate it

With the guns thing, there ARE classes for registration to even OWN a gun, people have to pass a written and practical exam with the weapon they're using (sport or otherwise). I'm not sure if this is for ALL guns, sadly, but I do know that the tests exist. You have to have the smarts and the practical ability to handle the weapon before you are even able to purchase what you're being trained for (which I wanna say is rifles, but again, I'm not 100% sure on this, it's been a while since I've dug into this). It may only be for hunting, but I do agree that people are a bit too careless with their firearms and that something as simple as a background check - a good, proper, and thorough background check - wouldn't kill us here in the states before we can become firearms owners. Quite the opposite. I do know people who are smart with their guns, they're hunters and people who go out and shoot a deer for Sunday dinner from time to time. They keep their guns locked up in a CASE, never on their person unless they are out hunting, because they have very young children (all in early elementary school) and pets that could be lost if they were careless enough to make the same mistake as the grandma OR have one of the kids pick up the gun and hurting themselves or someone else in the house. Potentially even worse. That's why gun cases exist, and if you feel THAT unsafe in your own home to keep a pistol by your bedside, there are home security systems that will help you FAR MORE than just blindly shooting at someone with that pistol.
This is actually something that we brushed up on in our nursing classes with the types of injuries we'd potentially see. It is also a common problem in my tiny little hometown, because people bring up their buddies from the city who don't know a fox from a coyote, nor from their buddy's hunting dog or the neighbor's dog. People have lost their pets because of stuff like this, and maybe it's just the recent loss of my puppy that brings this up, but it's still something that happens and it kills me that it does.

Nice job Keaton!! It's finally cold here with a high of 56°F at best! Hot cider and cocoa and pumpkin spice teas ... oh, I love the fall.
Also, Good Eats is on Netflix and I'm so sad I don't have access to an oven (I would make all the goodies Alton Brown makes on the show. I grew up with the show, and it taught me science AND about the glory of certain meals/desserts)

Last class of the day is in 25 minutes ... I really don't want to go, just because of how freaking dry it is, but I have to ... *sigh*

Ah, the love button ... kinda missed that bit of SeptemberFest ... sadly (stupid college, making me work and stuff). But I'm glad it came in the mail, Anita! It's always fun to receive a nice little letter and present like that Thinking about it, buttons make GREAT conversation starters! My backpack is covered in them, and people that I hang out with regularly still stare at them and try to read them all and ask me about what some of them are ... it's sad how many people don't know who Groucho Marx is, or Felix the cat.

I've been having tea for the last few days ... that and hot apple cider (because I cheat and love me some hot cider). I've also been given new meds from the school health office, which will help out too. I'm at least healthy enough to draw still (I got carried away in bio lecture) bonus points to anyone who knows what band I'm referencing.

^ You got this internship thing, being nervous is normal (helps keep ya on your toes if you know how to balance it out with confidence). Good luck to you, though!!
And thank you everyone for the wishes of health, I'm a billion times better than last night! Worse thing I have is just a cold now. Hoping that's what it stays at so I can help out my roommate soon (poor girl's got pink eye on top of a cold that's been kicking her butt for a week and a half now).

I hate being sick. I just fell ill on Sunday and now have a full blown body ache and headache and runny nose and sore throat ... fearing the worst with potentially having strep, or possibly worse, another bout of mono. Yeah college!! :P
