Ok I'm not a big fan of EDM. Actually, I don't like most of the music that's played in clubs nowadays. But when a song is good, I like it regardless of the genre. That's why I also appreciate Avicii songs like Levels or Wake Me Up which are in my opinion fantastic songs.
ASFOS is not typically Coldplay but for what it is, it's really good. I know I won't be listening to it as often as I've listened to A Message or Cemeteries of London but the song makes me smile and I think it's a good summer hit. It won't be my favorite song but it's okay for me. And come on, we all knew there had to be a catchy, uplifting song on the album.

Oooh what I'd give to hear the HQ version of that. Even at that quality it sounded magical!

It's a good EDM song, but not sure I hear the Coldplay in it, except for Chris's voice.. I like it, but feel like they missed a chance at making it more their own, maybe by letting Avicii take over.

This song has been in my head all day! And Chris's voice was stellar last night… and his dancing has reached another level

I felt like this when I heard the studio version. It's too much of something, can't put my finger on what exactly, maybe as you say a lot of Avicii. But when I heard it live on Jools, I felt it was more balanced, then I could hear the Coldplay in it.

listening to the studio version for the first time. i definitely have to get used to the echo effect on Chris' voice. right now it's a bit annoying but i think i like the track. i wouldn't mind to listen to it on the radio at all I definitely prefer it to Paradise

I agree with you here, the live version gives it somewhat more of a band feel, plus watching them perform it adds to the experience. I'm looking forward to hearing all the new songs live on their TV special.
