We went to the movies tonight and they were doing a search of hand bags and stuff. Which they've never done before. It's not a problem for me. Rather they did that than the alternative. But it makes you think.

Another nightmare today as police and special forces gave an assault in a flat near the Stade de France. One of the terrorists had a belt made of bombs and sbe tried to kill but she failed and died. SHE. A woman.

My cousin's boyfriend is safe, no physical injury. Thank you for the banner and your support, hearing and seeing support from all around the world really helps. Raphaele how are they both doing now? Are they getting through all of the emotional trauma and aftershock OK? |

He's still in a real shock. He isn't able to get out of his flat and doesn't want to talk about what happened except with his psychologist.

I can't imagine either. I've read of more threats, and it makes me so angry at being afraid. I know that's what they want, but it's hard to help it when you are concerned for the health and welfare of children, family and friends. I simply cannot understand this way of thinking. My heart goes out to him, Raphaele, and everyone that's suffered unimaginable loss and will continue to keep them in my thoughts. Hugs.

I am so very angry at being afraid too. But I am grateful to be able to come here to talk to you guys about it. We are a group of people who feels things deeply and we understand each other.

As said above, prayers for your friend, Raphaele, and for everyone suffering.
It's when you hear people tell their stories it really starts to sink in on another level.
I read an excerpt from an interview with members from the band that played at Bataclan, how they saw people trying to protect their friends, stepping in front of them. It's so hard to read, but I want to hear the stories from those who can and want to talk about it.
And I'm thankful for being angry too, not just afraid.

The area I live in is a the highest level of security, they have announced that soldiers would wandering near schools.
I've watched yewferday's tidal event and for 53 minutes I felt safe.

All schools and universities in Brussels are closed tomorrow, no metros, no events (like concerts) because they're on terror alert 4... So weird.
I'm supposed to go to a concert in Brussels on Thursday so I hope the situation will be better by then :(
