I just watched President Obama hand out medals, and I'm just so sad that we are losing this wonderful man as our President. What a totally charming, funny, intelligent, caring class act.  |

I saw parts of Obama's speech, very good. Commentators here say he's the best speaker in the world now, it's easy to agree.
I also saw parts of Trump's press conference, was a bit of a contrast. I should try to see all of it, I want to see how it ended with the reporter from CNN. Was almost shocking to see to be honest, journalists are SO important now, we really need their good work in times like these.
No offense, it's not my country or election but that was not good for my blood pressure.

I was angry right after the election, but now I am sad. People possibly losing their healthcare, all the horrible cabinet picks, it's really depressing. I can't figure out a positive on any of this.

I can't work out any positives at all. I'm a mix of sad, angry, depressed and worried. It's beyond ridiculous.

Well at least you are moving through the stages of grief it seems like. I'm still in denial. Perhaps the only positive is that if we make it through this, the American people will be more careful and will not let something like this happen again? The Democratic party will make a comeback and become stronger for this? We can only hope. |
