I don't know but VLC opens basically anything so I'd try it and if it works, you can concert it to something normal like mp4 with vlc

It did work, but I just got sound not video. Still a good link to have, saved it. I don't know but VLC opens basically anything so I'd try it and if it works, you can concert it to something normal like mp4 with vlc It doesn't open .f4f for me. I think I heard about Download Helper from you, I'm VERY thankful for that. I got some of the videos to work, so that's OK (I think just the presence of Prissie and Hannah made it work ) Thank you both so much!

Can you advise me about wich program to use? I want to make a compilation of short video's (made with my samsung phone and my digital camera). I used to work with Studo 9, but I do not have that program anymore. And I think that was a really 'heavy' program and not that easy to use at that time (9 years ago - on a really old PC).
I need a light version now, maybe even an online program. Easy to use and 'free' if that is possible. Do you have suggestions, tips and tricks? Thanks!!

What system are you using? For Windows, there is Windows Movie Maker which is very simple and many are happy with it. For Ubuntu, there is kdenlive. A lot of people like the following programs but they are not free: Magix Video Deluxe, Sony Movie Studio, Nero Maybe download some test versions to see what is the best for you

Thanks Dustin! I am trying WMM right now! It has less features as Studio9, but is sooo much faster! It is perfect for this job! And uh-oh ... I didn't know I had this program already on my pc....

I am on my way with it; and it is working quick and fine! Do you know if there is a feature button to slow-down a video part? I cannot find it - maybe it is not possible in WMM?

Yes, you can. Let me see if I can remember how. OK go to the section marked VIDEO TOOLS, select EDIT, then SPEED. Normally it says 1x, which is normal speed. To slow down set it to less, eg 0.25 or to speed up set it to 2x etc...

Thank you Row, my screen is the same, but I cannot select the button "speed". It is there, and I shoud be able to adjust the time, but I think I missed a thing or a step. I just want to slow down only one clip in the video. Any idea's?
