Bit of an update. We arrived yesterday. Set up. Grabbed rooms etc. Its very beautiful. Shan and I went for a drive to find a store, but failed. But it was OK cos we had loud Coldplay along for the ride. Then came home, chilled, the men made dinner, and then we went crabbing on beach in the dark. Never done that before!! Bit freaked about the crabs lol too much like spiders for me lol! But the the boys here, all under 13 were having the time of their lives. We also caught a small fish. We had a full bucket it was very cool and fun. The moon was out and it was just perfect, the sea is so warm! It's like a warm bath.  . Came back in, the house is right on the beach, so it's not a long way. Crashed in front of TV and then at around 11 I found the hour catching up with me, so why to bed This morning I had tea on the terrace in the sun and layer were going back on the beach. Hard life huh? |

Oh my gosh that sounds like the best day! But I would definitely be freaked out about looking for crabs in the dark. I would be so afraid of stepping on one.

Hey from the very warm beach! Here are some pics if you are interested. Here is the moon last night.  My camera phone isn't very good unfortunately.  We had some paper on our table at dinner the other night, so we did some very important drawings!   Row's birthday was in January, but since this trip is her present, we made sure to celebrate it last night after dinner with butterfly cupcakes....chocolate of course.  Walking down to the beach when we got here. So pretty!  |

Crabs scared me too lol but it was fun. . This morning I think I am fully into the time zone. I just woke up and its 8 am. Been waking up at 6am. But today I slept. It looks like another amazing day out there I am sitting in bed, watching the sea, and the people setting up on the beach. The occasional runner, making me think of Chris. I need to feel how warm it is. When I open the door, it's like stepping into a sauna. It's very humid and hot. We have ac inside, essential, but it's all weird to the English person, to have it colder indoors than out. Plays with my head lol. I am having an incredible time here with lovely people. Sharon of course I know is lovely, and I've stayed with her and her immediate family before, so that's just like being with my own family. But the rest of her family are lovely too. I'm so lucky. . |

Haha yes air condition is weird to me too. I had the exact same sauna experience, but it was in a car. We drove for quite some time so I forgot it was hot outside, whoa when they opened the doors |

Kudos to Row for being put in a house with 12 other people (and we are short two people) and not only fitting in but taking all of the different personalities in stride. It's hard to meet a new person but to be thrown in a house with a bunch of them is always...interesting. Especially when you are with them an entire week. I have drug her into all kinds of things probably and will drag her to Myrtle Beach tomorrow for the day. It's so great having her here. We've waited so long for it and tomorrow is Wednesday already. Time flies. We finally had a break in the very sunny and clear weather with a bit of rain this afternoon but with some sunburn, its probably a welcome break. I love being here and on vacation. I think I will stay out of town a little longer! Next time, all of meet up and go!  |

It's fantastic being here, and I can't thank Sharon and her family for accepting a stranger into their family holiday enough. I'm having a superb time. Can't believe it's' Friday tomorrow already.
We spent the day on the beach. I'm so brown. Well where the red bits aren't! Although sadly it will probably be too cold to show anyone when i get home. Although hubby says they're having a bit of a heatwave there right now. Hope it stays for my return!
I'm eating a lot, sleeping like a log. And enjoying myself immensely. Wish I could stay here forever. It's so beautiful
