It's 31°C here and I think it's the same in England so it's not cold at all haha!

I'm glad to hear it. I need to acclimatise slowly lol. I'm sitting in the very bright (lots of colours) living room being very lazy and watching people prepare breakfast right now. I suspect today will be another beach day. But whatever we do I will love it. It's very hard to believe today is my last day. Tomorrow I fly home again. It's gone so quickly! I just love America, it feels like home now, after coming here three times in three years. I miss it. OK breakfast is done. I'm hungry!!

I think it was Anita that questioned what the view from Row's room was like. Both of our rooms connect to the upper deck, and here's the view... Ahhhhhhhhh....... However, this is the last full day on the beach. Sad face.

What a fantastic view! And no people. Is it usually so un-crowded? To hear the ocean, that is something to long for. Would be hard to leave a place like that and such good friends. Have a pleasant safe journey home Blighty

This particular beach is more of a family beach, lots of houses. It's not as crowded as a public beach by a huge margin. Of course, there are plenty of people on the beach during the day, but this picture was taken first thing in the morning.

I'm currently sitting in the departure lounge. My flight boards in about an hour. I've stocked up on flight essentials; chocolate, water, chips (crisps). I have two books to read, and now all I have to do is attempt to sleep on the way home. 8 hours and I get five hours back. I land at 7am UK time. Hubby and son are meeting me. Sharon left me at the gate. We had a tea together, well I did. Sharon watched and texted her sister. Which was quite funny as her phone says "honey honey" when it seems a text, quite loudly. She has a three hour drive home. I'm sure she'll be in here before I get back to give her version of events. Back home to normality, rain probably and work on Tuesday. Ah well, it was a perfect week looking forward to seeing my family tomorrow now.

I am now home. Yes, my phone's notification sound is "honey honey", so the funny part was that I had my phone propped between my legs so I would be sure not to leave it at the airport since I didn't bring my wallet in with me, and every time my sister texted (she knows Row and wanted to say goodbye, etc.), it would vibrate a little and Chris' voice would say "honey honey" from my crotch area pretty much. I told her to keep texting. LOL! You can't take us anywhere. It was pretty silly and funny at the time. We had a great week. The beach was gorgeous, the weather was beautiful, my extended family was mostly well behaved, I wasn't forced to hurt any of them, ha, we ate a lot, we did fun things, went to fun places, got very silly especially when we saw CP references which strangely seem to pop up everywhere and still managed to veg out and relax a lot too. It was, as always, fantastic to see Row again and have her go to the beach with me this year. It truly is amazing to meet someone online and feel like you've known them forever and become actual, real life friends with them. I have seen her more in the last couple of years than I've seen my own crazy sister (not the one kindly texting me between my legs.) I hope that as many of us here have the opportunity to meet others because it's so much fun, and it pays off sometimes into lifelong friendships. Hopefully her plane ride will be a good one, and yes, now it's back to reality. I've not really kept up with the news much, which is a good thing about being on vacation. Sometimes it's really nice to unplug (except not from some things, ha) and escape for a bit. I haven't slept much this week, so I am pretty worn out tonight, but if you are reading this and somehow still interested, I will post some pics after I pull myself back together a bit. It's good to be back, but I wish I could have stayed a few more days. One in the meantime...

LOL that photo! Well, I am home, it's nice to have my computer back. I got in at 6.30am, and Oli and Andy picked me up and brought me home. I wasn't sleepy at all then, I did manage to get a couple of hours probably on the flight, but what with the turbulence, yes Sharon it was bumpy, and them announcing that we needed to put our seatbelts on a lot.. plus people behind me apparently having a party all night, it was kind of hard. (I discovered WHY when I woke up, there was a large group of kids in the middle rows, travelling together to England - a bit exciting probably so really they were very well behaved). I was also very lucky to have two seats to myself on the flight, nobody sat next to me, so I was able to spread out a bit. I didn't eat the stuff I brought with me! LOL. And yes Sharon they OPENED my case at the airport and then resealed it.. I had a message inside to tell me so, so the red robin and cinnamon rolls were poked at, but they are still there, so I am assuming they were allowed into the country LOL. I am very confused as to what the time is. My body says it's breakfast time, but the clock says 2.15PM LOL. I slept a bit when I got home, but had to force myself to get up and do stuff, so that hopefully I can sleep tonight and get back on track a bit. I booked tomorrow off as holiday, so I have a day to recover before back to work however, so that should help. I have lots of photos to post too. Currently uploading. I will post them soon.
