Wow.. that is so crazy, and so amazing! Wow Raphaele! It couldn't have happened to a nicer person! I tried to get tickets for the 2011 itunes festival..sadly I didn't get them. But I watched it live as it was broadcast, wishing I was there of course. Were you front row for that too? You got Moving to Mars! I can quite understand that it must be one memory that you will never ever forget.

Thanks Row! of course I was front row and after the support act, a young roadie was placing the mic for Chris and I shouted him that it was not in the middle as it should have been and a few minutes later, Hoppy came to replace it. As we were the first ones to enter the Roundhouse (my friend and I), I obviously had a large amount of time to find the middle of the stafe and the exact place for the mic All the boys were in a good mood, they all recognized me, they all waved at me and Chris sang the last words of Shiver looking straight into my eyes (someone made a gif of that exact moment but it's not on my laptop. Well it should be). I didn't sleep the following night thinking about those words...

Crikey! I am not sure I would sleep ever.. I saw Shiver at the Little Noises. We were front row (of course ) I was directly in front of Jonny, and in Shiver Chris picked up his mic stand, saying 'I'm too far away' and set it up directly in front of me! they then did the acoustic version, SO close. It's one of my most amazing memories. But being recognised wow.. I am speechless. Next gig I am standing with you! LOL!

You both are so lucky! And especially you, Raphaele! I get why you love them and that the same reason I live them. They are really wonderfull for their fans.
I am happy with the fact I was lucky enough with being at the gig last month.
More then a month ago and back to the state: was I there? Yes, I was, but it already feels like a dream. I hope they will tour soon again. (Although not to soon, or else I can't be there)

Wow, Raphaele! You're really lucky what a lovely experience! My next mission is to be in a front row for a Coldplay concert.... I guess you have to wait for many hours before the concert starts? However, I hope they will play in Berlin at all. They don't seem to like the city very much.

Awesome Raphaele!! Wow, amazing. I keep saying it, but the reasons to love this band mount up by the second. They truly do love and respect their fans. Every day there are more and more stories of their generosity.
Being in the States, we don't get a chance to stand outside and try to get front row often because they do seats here most of the time, but I did get front row in London once for CP, and it's an experience I will never, ever forget.

Yes you do have to wait a long time, and you are of course NEVER guaranteed a front row, no matter how early or how many people you arrive before. I have had issues with ticket readers, (not working! whilst I watched hundreds of people go in before me, despite having been there first) blind people (Long story!) and people attempting to jump the queue. Every time it is as nerve wracking and worrying as the first, (you think ticket stress is bad, wait until you get front row stress! LOL) but once you get that coverted barrier position, it is the BEST feeling in the entire world and worth every second of the dawn rising, waiting, cold, fretting and stress.

reaching front row is a long long day of stress but I agree : when you touch the barrier everything disappear !
or you have to be invited by the band, beacause we were only two people in the queue, when they opended the door they asked us if we wanted a seat at the balcony but of course we said no, front row and they were surprised but allowed us to get inside 10 minutes before the general opening.
Another funny thing about that night? During the intro to CB, Chris said something like 'even if you are over the age of 22 you have to jump on that one' and he was clearly watching me so I thanked him the day after because of his politeness.

What a great story Raphaele! And I like the way you tell about it. You are as nice as they are and that is why you were invited. I am proud to be "over 22" too and apriciate and love them so much.
