When I heard about that, my first feeling was 'oh no, USA, again...' Then I was like 'Chris on his own, why ???'

Chris does it more. Remember the suprise thing in the Hotel Cafe in LA? Maybe he wants to keep singing for the iHeart Festival? Some of the songs are tricky if you wont sing enough I think...

Welcome home Raphaele I think he said the whole band would have done it, but that Guy was busy somewhere else at that time, so he had to do it alone. I don't honestly think it is anything to worry about bandwise, they are doing the iheart radio show after all. It's just between albums, and Chris is in the area.

Yeah Oracle post said that this is the time of year that the rest of the band normally takes a vacation. He's just doing a lot of promotion while he's there.

Made separate threads for the radio performances. In this thread we still talk about the performance at a secret location in NYC.

We need to find where this is being broadcast tomorrow. On Wednesday, they are broadcasting from the Fresh studios ( link) but does anyone know where/when for tomorrow?

Are we sure it's being broadcasted? It seems to be a radio event, so it's possible. Cities97 were first to announce it and give away tickets, nothing on their event calendar yet. There are lots of links to different stations in this thread. If you can, please listen to see if they announce something. (you = people in the US and those handy with proxys and such )

I'm fearing that this will not be broadcast anywhere. I can't really find anything on it, and CP.com isn't saying anything about it being broadcast either. I think it stemmed from THIS interview where Chris said he would be doing some songs "on" the radio (at least that's how it sounded to me) which raised hopes....but.... then the dj said she's hoping that one of their winning listeners will report back on the concert. Why say that if it's being broadcast? No mention of being able to listen to it anywhere.

There's still a chance they will broadcast it later, if not live.

Yeah I'm disappointed too :( This would have been by far more interesting than a couple of the GS radio broadcasts because he will be playing acoustic (!) versions of the GS (and some older) songs. I was looking forward to this so very much :( (And I am currently having quite a hard time, so this would just have been perfect now...) I always was a bit critical about their usage of backing tracks and now we could hear Chris in a raw live performance if there was any broadcast.... I hope the lucky people who can be there record something and make it available for us, otherwise I'll be really frustrated.
