Oh I see. I imagine it'd be a good place to cycle, maybe not to many hills. It's too bad, 3 hours one way... Good music/book! Guess we shall not talk about hitch-hiking? Haha my parents would go mad if I did that (Although even if they didn't I don't think I'd be brave enough anyway!)

Bite your tongue!
Wow, it sounds like such a trial to go to your friend's house. I take it you are on school holiday? I guess so or you'd just ride home with her, but it sounds like such a long day of waiting. How far away is this friend? Are her parents working? Trying to keep you from a day of hurry up and wait.

Yeah we're off for Easter now. I think it would be a bit of an ask to get her parents to pick me up or something like that I'm just gonna enjoy the journey for what it is and have a look round the shops whilst I wait lol. Oh and listen to some Coldplay on the way

I think where Amelia is, is pretty Rural.. I don't think hitch hiking is ANYTIME a good idea! As for bike riding.. probably also not clever, given how narrow the lanes are and yes I do believe there are LOTS of hills LOL.. Tell your parents to call you a taxi!

Yes, the thought of you wandering around on your own doesn't sit well with all of your parents on this thread, haha!

I was wrong about everything lol. I imagined a flat green landscape with nice broad bicycle lanes. Now that I think about it, what little I've seen of rural UK was quite hilly.
Hitch-hiking is probably not safe anywhere anymore, sadly. I've done it in Scotland and have also picked up hitch-hikers. Then and there it was quite safe, but you never know. Don't think I've ever told anyone about it.
Enjoy your day Amelia, it can be very nice I believe!

LOL I think she might be.
I need a rant.
I took my computer in to be fixed. it is 11 months old. They sent it off.. it came back a week later.. not fixed. I took it back. It is STILL there! Three weeks later.
I went in today, and they have freaking LOST it!!!
I kept my cool.. HOW? But I did.. they said. we will call you later today and tell you what is happened. Did they?
No.
I am SO fed up and sick of all this! I WANT MY FREAKING COMPUTER BACK!!! arGH! Do they not understand that it is IMPORTANT! I can't see any videos... or if I do they buffer and are slow. I Haven't been able to watch ANY Of the Coldplay stuff this last three weeks.. unless I am prepared to sit through it stopping every 5 mins and buffering.
OK I know there are worse things that could happen, but it is so annoying! Frustrating and sigh...

ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH thats me losing my temper for you Row!! Its not acceptable and not good customer service, and in Coldplay World it is the worst thing to happen, especially NOW !!!
Seriously though it makes me mad when these places promise things, ahem..the promise to ring back the person who will utimately pay them for their 'service' , and then dont bother, strong words are needed here they are fobbing you off!!

That's really stupid! You'd think a company would be able to keep track of the computers they're fixing....

Carina, you are mixing the UK up with the Netherlands Hahaha you are so right! I want to go to Keukenhof!! Row...still no computer! I don't know how the companies selling computers can let this go on! At least here, they don't do repairs themselves but send to a different repair company. It's been crap for years and it's still crap. So bad service. And we put up with it, cause what can we do?? Oh my blood pressure. So sorry, hope it'll be sorted out SOON.

Sometimes it would just be better to have a shop fix it. Clearly a disorganized place. They can't keep track of a computer? They probably can't even diagnose it properly. Consider taking it back from them and getting it fixed elsewhere. Hope you get this figured out!

Carina, you are mixing the UK up with the Netherlands Hahaha you are so right! I want to go to Keukenhof!! You are welcome! It's open now, till the end of May! Row, that's a bummer. Or actually that's an understatement! I guess they use track and trace right? How can they loose your PC with that????

Row, have you told them that you NEED a computer now? They should have sent you some replacement, even just for a few days. We feel with you :/

I told her that I would have probably lost my mind right there in the store if I'd have sent it off to be repaired and waited a week and a half to then be told that nothing was wrong with it, then to get it back and find out that it indeed was broken and have to send it off again to wait another week and a half to then be told that they'd lost it. That would be irritating on its own without uber important stuff happening right now!
