That's racist in itself! I know right?! But the Black/White thing in particular drives me nuts. Can you imagine if an Asian person had to check "Yellow" or a Native American had to check "Red"? How inappropriate would that be!!! |

Yes, and for me as a European that way of thinking is so alien. My little nephews are Americans and the older one is classified in the school register as white and the younger one as black. Yes, the younger ones' skin tone is a darker shade than his brothers' but they have the same parents (my sister-in-law is korean/black, my (half)brother german/greek) That is so irrational!
And why are the kids classified into races at all anyway?
