Just before Coldplay releases an album and keep under the radar like this, I always think about that list of rules chris once showed in the stdio on a video. one rule was, always keep the mystery  they never disappoint in this ... |

I would also guess that we get some big news on Friday. Release Midnight... grab everyone's attention... get the whole internet talking for a few days... build a little mystery... and then when everything is at it's peak drop the album announcement going into the weekend...
they might let this all brew for a litle bit longer but I imagine they would want to make the announcement while the Midnight hype is at it's strongest.

Lets hope they do a Beyonce and shock us all one night. But i can't help but think we'll be waiting a while, back end of the summer maybe. I'm having lunch at my friends on Sunday quite close to the Bakery so i'll pop my head round and see if anythings happening.

I'm hoping that they release Midnight as part of an EP of about 5 songs to further increase the hype and get their live shows going. Then they drop the album in late June.

releasing the lyrics to midnight now makes me think that they want the midnight hype to last awhile. we might not get something else new for awhile. most probably not this week anyway.

As much as I want them to release the album as soon as possible, I'm kind of rooting for them to release in on my birthday which is August 2nd. :P
