It depends on what you consider as cheap. I have a flatrate for 8€/ month. It includes 300MB fast internet and 300 SMS or minutes. I think it's cheap and I absolutely get along with 300MB because whenever I listen to music, the files are saved on the phone and when I watch youtube videos, I do it at home when I log in to our wlan. I download apps at home too.

^ Very good deal! I have a flatrate too, about the same cost, but only including about 1/3 of your sms/minutes and no data anymore. As Prissie said, "anymore", is the key word. They also changed the speed, it used to slow down when you had used your included MB, now it just stops and you have to buy more quite expensively.
The sms/minutes are usually enough for me, and I also get a new phone every 2 years so it's good. I'll keep that while I try this new "free" thing for internet.

Excellent topic for the ColdTech thread, hope you don't mind me moving your post. I have no advice tho, sorry. Haven't had a monitor in years. I'd take one of those people give away for free.

Okay my laptop is kinda falling apart and it's over heating very easily now (it's a toshiba btw) and I'm looking into getting a new one in the near future. I'm looking for something that's heavier duty and in the $200-$400 price range. I prefer to use windows 7 but I don't mind using windows 8. If it has a touch screen that's awesome but it isn't necessary. I really like the laptops our school has right now. They are Lenovo ThinkPad tablet computers with windows 8 and those things are made of like solid metal which would be great for me considering I move my computer around a lot.

Bliking Proxy Server! It wouldn't let me online. Hubby managed to get me onto Firefox, but then Firefox wouldn't let me log in here! LOL.. I finally managed it.
In case anyone needs to know. In Google Chrome
Go to Settings advanced Settings Network - Change Proxy settings LAN settings and then untick the box that says use a proxy server
HOW did that get ticked overnight? Do I have gremlins??

Gremlins I need to save some tv programs before they're taken off the online player. Anyone tried DownloadHelper? It's a Firefox add-on. It says on their website they're having issues now but a new version is coming. Other suggestions are also welcome. I'm not even sure this one works for tv programs but I could try.

I do think I have used it for Firefox, but I don't use Firefox any longer, but when I did have it, it worked. Hope it works for you.

OK, anyone any ideas on this? Since last night when I tried to download something Sharon sent me. Nothing dodgy LOL.. It was to do with a competition. ALL my desktop icons and in fact all my icons are the same. Every single one is showing VLC. It's driving me crazy. Any ideas.. Even Andy has no idea.. he is going to ask at work today (he works in IT so maybe they have come across something like this) Oh I use Windows 7 if that helps and use Chrome as my browser. Thanks anyone..
