One day.. LOL! You will stop wearing TWO Pairs of reading glasses one on top of the other! I wear glasses, but I LOVE my contact lenses.. But yours look great Ashley. They suit you. And you can't beat that OMG I can see feeling can you? LOL. You realise people actually have individual hairs on their heads and their faces aren't blurry any more LOL! (or maybe that was just me )

It's so true! When I had the LASIK surgery done all those years ago, it was so awesome. I had been wearing glasses pretty much all my life, and to just wake up and see without anything was amazing . Then about 2 years ago, I noticed things were starting to get fuzzy again. I started getting horrible headaches. So I finally broke down and got glasses again. I couldn't believe how bad my vision had gotten.

Doesn't everyone wear two pair of glasses sometimes? . Just sometimes! No that's just you Edit no... maybe not just you.. Look you are in GREAT company and finally IF this doesn't convince you, nothing will.. LOL

So I have a couple of photos to show you from a a while back. This first one was taken on my birthday and it is a photo of some houses in the Forest of Dean: This one is a photo I took back in August when me and my family were on holiday in Italy. It was the best firework display I have ever seen, and we could see it from our hotel room! The last one is of Newcastle-Gateshead. They are two cities in the north of England and my grandparents live near there so I took this photo when I saw them in October. Newcastle is on the right side of the river and Gateshead is on the left.

Nice photos! I haven't seen a decent fireworks in years. I'm not sure I'd be happy with that bridge, why make me walk all those extra meters when they could have built it straight across the river?? It's beautiful tho, got to give them that And green trees... aww one day we'll have that again.

Ok folks, time to revive this thread. It's eclipse-O-clock! Or at least it was… This got me really excited. My brother and I made some popcorn and went to the park to watch it… because you can't watch an astronomical event without snacks I also took my camera. So here's some photos… enjoy.

Beautiful pictures! I haven't seen it. Last night we had a party from our neighbour. She turned 80 and she is like a kind of granny for us. It wasn't really late, but I still got really tired. So I stayed the morning in bed.
No going to the parc to see the eclips for me. I still can remember the last time. We all used cd-discs to watch it. Beautiful phenomen.

It is the first time I have ever seen an eclipse and I think it is something that I'll remember for a long time, Prissie. When was the last eclipse you saw?
